Lavanya has over 30 years of combined family law and general legal experience.

Lavanya worked for 5 years as in house corporate counsel in a large firm.

Lavanya has worked for various Auckland firms.

Lavanya operated a full legal practice under Botany law for 10 years before merging the rapidly grown practice with Fencible Law of Howick where she worked for the past 4 years as a senior associate.

Lavanya was counsel in a high profile Coroner’s proceeding in 2001 involving the drowning of 2 Howick school children.

Since 2002 Lavanya has been particularly focused on developments in the Property (Relationships) Act 1976. Relationship Property practice covers many disciplines, and so Lavanya is able to bring her broad knowledge in commercial, property and family law to this specialist area.

Lavanya also practices in the area of Wills, Estates, Family Protection Act and Protection of Personal & Property Law (PPPR Act) matters. Lavanya is able to bring her invaluable experience and knowledge to this firm of Auckland Family and Elder Law.
